Christian Martinoli and Luis García, two of Mexico’s most popular sportscasters, are now also reaching the growing world of podcasting. Amazon Music, the musical branch of the Amazon technology company, announced its first original podcast in Mexico on Friday.
It’s about ‘Exceso de Humo’, which not only marks the arrival of Martinoli and ‘doctor’ García to this format, but also the premiere of the first original Amazon Music podcast in Mexico. ‘Excess de Humo’ comes just two weeks after Amazon Music announced its podcast side. Until before November 18, Amazon did not have any podcasts on its platform.
“‘Excess de Humo’ is an informal and comfortable window totally contrary to what these two communicators commonly transmit on television. Luis García and Christian Martinoli talk with friends about things in life, music, sports and other topics,” said Amazon Music it’s a statement.
The podcast of the two sports commentators is available from this Friday on all versions of Amazon Music (Prime, Free and Unlimited). There will be a new episode every week.
In each episode, Martinoli and Luis García will have a guest. In the first chapter, the ‘godfather’ is Cuauhtémoc Blanco, who talks about his career in soccer, anecdotes and his time in politics, since he is currently governor of the state of Morelos.
“Podcasts have become increasingly popular among Mexicans, who are constantly looking for new forms of entertainment, as well as having the great advantage that they can listen to them wherever they want, with the possibility of pausing them and listening to them again whenever they want.
We want to convert. is the favorite of Amazon Music users and we believe that more than one person will like our irreverence ”, commented Christian Martinoli.
“It is a new adventure for us and now we decided to venture into podcasts with the help of Amazon Music with this new Original in Mexico to bring listeners a pleasant time with our particular way of saying things,” added Luis García. “We will have a different theme for each episode with sports guests, scientists, musicians, architects, singers and more.”
